Happy Father's Day

Just wanted to wish a Happy Father's Day to all the amazing Daddys out there. Hope everyone had a special day spent with the ones you love.

We had a nice relaxing trip to the movies with the kids......more on their first movie trip later.

I sure am lucky to have an awesome hubby who is the greatest dad to my three little ones. They are lucky to have you!!!

Just Plain Tired

This kid can sleep anywhere. That is a true blessing. The twins were never like that. They would only sleep in their cribs or in the carseat. Porter was getting sleepy the other day. I decided to give him an early lunch to perk him up some. I sat him in his highchair......And he could barely hold his eyes open.
A few seconds later we had this.....
Followed by this.....Needless to say he was carried off to his crib to finish his nap.

Another prime example of how he sleeps anywhere. We had a busy day in the hot tub with a short nap. He cuddled up in my lap  in the hot tub and started to close his eyes. So I propped him up inside  on the recliner with his blankie.

Isn't it cute how he chews on it?

Why are kids so cute when they are sleeping?

Fun on a Boat.

Yesterday our friends took us out on their boat. The kids really had a blast. They don't remember when we took them out on our boat. We ended up selling it over a year ago because it was just too much upkeep and we really never had time to use it.

But they did enjoy it yesterday. Danner was scared at first but she warmed right up to it. They had fun playing on the beach with their friend Sophie.

My little daredevil was back up to his sneaky ways when he wondered off to a tidal pool and dove in head first. I had to sprint to get him but he was a good swimmer and held his breath the whole time. No coughing, choking, or crying when I pulled him up. Ha.....I am going to have to watch this one like a hawk......

Ridin' Horses.

The one photo I was able to capture the other night when we took the kids to ride the rides at the beach.
It may not look like it but they loved it.

Weekend Fun

We have been enjoying the new hot tub. The kids really love it...they call it their big bathtub. We don't have the heat running but it stays warm just from the outside temperature.
Danner showing off her new goggles. She refuses to put her head under though.
Sawyer and Porter are like little fish. Sawyer started swimming underwater. He can hold his breath for 5 seconds or so.
 Cheese....
Jesse and Porter....I put Porter in water wings. He is not quite tall enough to touch...yet has no fear of going under. Quite our little daredevil....HA

oh the joys of twins....

Every night I have to go in the twins room after they fall asleep and turn out the lights. The little stinkers are tall enough to turn them on. The other night I walked in to find this.......
Sawyer's bed.....do you see him in there?
 Can you see him yet?
How about now....way in the back against the wall.....beside the great mountain of stuffed animals.
And who do you think piled this large mountain around Sawyer while he was sleeping?

Yep. She's the one. She looks all innocent, right? She does NOT like when Sawyer falls asleep before her. Apparently stacking all the stuffed animals around him was punishment. Ha

These kids crack me up...

More Big Beds

Finally got the computer up and running at a normal pace. What did I do before high speed internet??

Danner loves her new bed. She was so excited about her flower bed. She couldn't wait for the "moon to come out" so she could try it out.

Sawyer was also on the countdown to bedtime the first night. I finally gave in and put them to bed 30 minutes early. I know.....shucks....right? Ha.

After the beds were delivered I didn't let the kids up to see until I had their new bedding on and the wall decor up too. They were so excited to go see and even more excited to see how different the room looked.

And because I can't resist a sweet photo of my favorite blondie.

Happy Memorial Day

We had a fabulous long weekend. Crazy that it flew by so fast. And even crazier that I didn't capture one single photo to document our fabulous-ness....ha...note to self...always charge the camera battery.

Our weekend was spent hanging out with friends. Our good friends came in town with their toddler ( Danner's boyfriend). We spent time at the beach, playing in the yard, soaking in the new hot tub, cooking yummy meals, and marveling over how awesome our kids are. Ha. We even did some touristy things and took the kids to ride rides at the boardwalk.

This was a great start to kick off our summer. Looking forward to more time at the beach, pool, and back porch.

Hoping to get more bedroom photos uploaded tomorrow.

Sneak Peek

Sawyer's new bed. He has been in it for a week and loves it. He calls it his "race cars".

I have been MIA due to the fact that the internet was down. Well...apparently I hit a button on our router when I was cleaning....and couldn't figure out what was wrong. Jesse was gone all week so I went without my laptop. Luckily I have my IPAD to keep me going.

Anyways....I am thinking it is not completely fixed because I only got one picture downloaded. So this will have to be your sneak peek at the new room. Now I know you are just dying to see the rest, right? Right!
