A few more.......

Birthday Portraits

Sunday we took the babies for their 1st Birthday Portraits. They really turned out cute. So of course I had to splurge and buy more than I should. But, hey, they only turn 1 once. And not everyone can be so blessed to have such beautiful babies...... :)

Here are a couple of the pictures.

Ready for the beach.....

This weekend Jesse went out and got the babies life jackets. Now they are ready to go on the boat and to the beach. I wish the weather would hurry up and warm up a bit. I tried the life jackets on and it was not a big hit. Danner absolutely hated it and everytime I sat her down she tipped over. She was top heavy with that thing on..... :) Sawyer did not seem to mind as much (as you can tell from the pictures) but he eventually tried to wrestle it off of himself.

We have nothing exciting to do this week. But next week will be crazy. Danner has her allergy appointment on Tuesday. Next Friday is their birthday. We are having pictures taken. And Saturday is their party. We are not doing a big thing, just family. I have to figure out how to make Danner's cake....with no wheat or eggs. Should be quite tastey!!

Just some pictures.....

Well nothing new to report here but I thought I might add some photos of the babies.

Finally some teeth.....

Well Danner has finally gotten her first 2 teeth. I honestly thought we might have to invest in some dentures for the poor girl, but the bottom 2 have made an appearance. Last week I took Danner in for an allergy test. I went expecting a milk allergy. She has been on a dairy free diet for a month and has had some tremendous improvements. But we left the allergist with no milk allergy and a wheat and egg allergy instead. Ugg. Wheat? What a pain. The poor girl loves crackers and breads and now she can't have it.I am having a hard time finding foods that she will eat that doesn't have egg or wheat. Well at least we have figured out what is causing the rash.

We had an absolutely beautiful weekend. The temperature was in the upper 70's and we were able to enjoy the outdoors. We took Danner and Sawyer to the boat marina. They did NOT take their first boat ride yet, but they did enjoy the dock and passing boats and birds. Here are a couple of pictures of them enjoying the nice weather.
