Petting Zoo

The drive thru had a petting zoo for the kids.

 This little lady was not scared of the animals at all.

 She went around and petted them all.

 They kinda liked her too.

 Porter liked them too.....see him carrying on a conversation with these 2.

 And giving him a little pet on the back.

 There were some baby chicks that the kids could hold.

Sawyer actually held them. He did not like the animals at the petting zoo. He thought they smelled and were "yucky"....can't say I blamed them. They did smell!! Ha

The Drive-Thru Zoo

We took a trip to a local drive thru zoo. It was quite funny. Animals would just sit in the middle of the road and not budge an inch. The kids were super excited. Danner liked the animals. Sawyer and Porter were excited to be riding in the car...out of their carseats.

 Check out the belly on that pig.

 Danner thought that this was Bambi.

 Danner didn't want to pose for a picture....she might miss the animals.

 Here is proof that I was there. carsick from the hilly ride and smelly animals aren't a good combo.

 Wow.....I love this face.

 He came right up to the window.

 Sawyer was having fun.

 And so was Danner.

Yep we made it home safe and sound from our trip to Ohio. We spent a week visiting Jesse's grandparents. The kids had a blast. I was a bit worried on how they would sleep but they did great. There was lots to do to keep them busy.....I have tons of pictures but I also have tons of unpacking, laundry, grocery shopping, etc. I will post them when I have a free second. Tomorrow starts swim school....ahhh....so nervous.

He stole my water and was hoping I would chase him.

We are lucky to live so close to the beach. It is a 10 minute drive that provides hours of entertainment for our little ones (and sometimes even a nap).....

Big Beach Bum

Sawyer likes to take his squirt gun to the beach to squirt people.

His most favorite target is Danner....

He goes to the beach and makes friends with anybody he sees....

He likes to ride on the boogie board. He really is getting good at it.

I think he will probably like surfing like his daddy when he is older.

He totally doesn't mind water in his face....in fact the more water the better.

He likes to go out deep....and karate kick the waves.

He even offers rides to his little brother....so sweet.

Beach Bum-ette

We take the kids to the beach a few times a week. Sometimes late afternoons if Jesse gets off early enough. Sometimes on the weekends. We have a specific spot we love to go to. The beach is long and wide (plenty of sand to keep them from running away) and there is always tidal pools (shallow puddles separate from the ocean). I finally took the camera to the beach last week to capture a few photos of my beach bums and bum-ette.

and keeping hydrated with mommys water.
