Pool Time

Saturday afternoon we headed over to Mimi and Poppi's pool for a little fun in the sun. The kids did really good with their new puddle jumpers water wings on.

 This girl had a blast and didn't want to leave. She stayed and visited for a while after we left.

 And this guy got rid of his water wings at the end and started to "swim". He has the leg kick down  and can get  from one point to the other. He needs to get his arm paddling down and he will be really swimming.

Danner and Sawyer are going to swim camp at UNCW July11. It is a 2 week class for teaching them to swim. I think Sawyer may be swimming before this camp starts. Can't believe how big my babies are getting.

It's going to be a fun summer.

Puddin

We like us some puddin 'round here. It is definitely a messy treat for the kids so they don't get it too often. I tend to stick to cleaner snacks and meals....Ha. Just makes my life a little easier.

As you can see Porter is the messiest of them all. And you should have seen him when he was finished. His whole belly was covered in chocolate. Super cute although it required an immediate bath.

Bike Riding

The kids have mastered riding their tricycles. It is super cute....especially with their helmets on. Sawyer always begs me to go for a walk down the street so he can ride on his trike. Problem is he is a speed racer and Danner is a turtle. So with only one me.....it gets a bit tricky.

Happy Father's Day

Just wanted to wish a Happy Father's Day to all the amazing Daddys out there. Hope everyone had a special day spent with the ones you love.

We had a nice relaxing trip to the movies with the kids......more on their first movie trip later.

I sure am lucky to have an awesome hubby who is the greatest dad to my three little ones. They are lucky to have you!!!

Just Plain Tired

This kid can sleep anywhere. That is a true blessing. The twins were never like that. They would only sleep in their cribs or in the carseat. Porter was getting sleepy the other day. I decided to give him an early lunch to perk him up some. I sat him in his highchair......And he could barely hold his eyes open.

 A few seconds later we had this.....

 Followed by this.....Needless to say he was carried off to his crib to finish his nap.

Another prime example of how he sleeps anywhere. We had a busy day in the hot tub with a short nap. He cuddled up in my lap  in the hot tub and started to close his eyes. So I propped him up inside  on the recliner with his blankie.

Fun on a Boat.

Yesterday our friends took us out on their boat. The kids really had a blast. They don't remember when we took them out on our boat. We ended up selling it over a year ago because it was just too much upkeep and we really never had time to use it.

But they did enjoy it yesterday. Danner was scared at first but she warmed right up to it. They had fun playing on the beach with their friend Sophie.

My little daredevil was back up to his sneaky ways when he wondered off to a tidal pool and dove in head first. I had to sprint to get him but he was a good swimmer and held his breath the whole time. No coughing, choking, or crying when I pulled him up. Ha.....I am going to have to watch this one like a hawk......

Weekend Fun

We have been enjoying the new hot tub. The kids really love it...they call it their big bathtub. We don't have the heat running but it stays warm just from the outside temperature.

 Sawyer and Porter are like little fish. Sawyer started swimming underwater. He can hold his breath for 5 seconds or so.

Jesse and Porter....I put Porter in water wings. He is not quite tall enough to touch...yet has no fear of going under. Quite our little daredevil....HA

oh the joys of twins....

Every night I have to go in the twins room after they fall asleep and turn out the lights. The little stinkers are tall enough to turn them on. The other night I walked in to find this.......

 Sawyer's bed.....do you see him in there?

 How about now....way in the back against the wall.....beside the great mountain of stuffed animals.

 And who do you think piled this large mountain around Sawyer while he was sleeping?

Yep. She's the one. She looks all innocent, right? She does NOT like when Sawyer falls asleep before her. Apparently stacking all the stuffed animals around him was punishment. Ha
